“GO! 2020 in Univ. Tsukuba Vol.1” was Held

On 17th January 2019 “GO! 2020 in Univ. Tsukuba Vol.1” was held at the University Library of the University of Tsukuba. A talk event by Mr. Daisuke FUJIWARA was held and our university’s student acted as a MC. Mr. FUJIWARA he graduated from School of Health and Physical Education, University of Tsukuba, and he is now active as a world class para-badminton athlete. At the event, Mr. Fujiwara introduced his life so far (such as his disability, memories of sports day in childhood / elementary school, and encounter with swimming and badminton). He also introduced para badminton using videos and images to the audience.

What’s GO! 2020 in Univ. Tsukuba?

It is a project organized for the purpose of interacting audience and the one who is involved in the Olympic and Paralympic games and belong to students, graduates, faculty / staff members of University of Tsukuba. It is a unique event of our university, since there are so many stakeholders who is supporting the Olympics and the Paralympic Games, such as Olympian, Paralympian, administration, volunteer, etc…
