Artwork Invitation for Exhibition “Reborn” ART x SPORTS

Use the power of ART and REBORN the used ball.
This is an artwork invitation announcement for the exhibition held in Kasama city, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.

 

Application Period: 1 July 2018 to 14 September 2018
* The application must be reached no later than 14 Sept.

 

Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be held in 2020. Olympic games are not only festival for sports, but also “festival for art”.
The artists reborn (rebuild) the balls that are no longer used with the power of art, and exhibit balls breathed new life. Furthermore, it is an exhibition that exhibits bowls or spherical craftworks and encourages a variety of expressions, with balls and bowls are shown in the same place. Please find out the relationship between art and sports with your free thought. The work will be exhibited at the “Ball × Bowl Exhibition” which will be held at the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum from 17 Oct 2018 to 21 oct 2018.

 

Due to the storage location, the artworks will be selected by photo entry.
