Many visually impaired people are get involved in volunteer activities in Japan. Through this booklet, we would like to show the way to the young visually impaired, who will build a future age, with introducing thoughts and considerations when visually impaired people volunteer.
For the Olympic and Paralympics Games Tokyo 2020, it is said that people more than 80,000 volunteers (over the age of 18) will be required. Taking the Games as opportunity, we hope that many people with disabilities, including visually impaired people, will participate in the event as volunteers, and we aim to more and more handicapped volunteers will be get involve in the sport events in the future.
