Olympic Silver Medalist, Assistant Professor HIRAOKA joined a judo class in Tsukuba

On 3rd February, 2020, our assistant professor HIRAOKA Hiroaki joined the judo class hosted by Tsukuba City.

The judo class was held at a junior high school in Tsukuba.

About 20 students who belong to elementary and junior high schools participated.

 

Mr. HIRAOKA has participated in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the London 2012 Olympic Games, and won a silver medal in 2012.

He graduated from University of Tsukuba and Graduate School, University of Tsukuba.

He is currently based at our university and conducts research and teaches.
