“Drain the water out of Senshunen” was Held

In January 2019, “Let’s clean up the pond! Drain the water out of Senshunen*” was carried out. *Senshunen is a garden located in Bunkyo-city, Tokyo.

At “the study meeting” held on 6th January, participants learned about the history of Senshunen, the significance and effect of draining the water out of the pond, and the creatures of the waterfront. At “the Natural Species Rescue Event” held on 13th January, participants collect fish in the pond in order to protect native species and exterminate exotic species. Thanks to more than 100 participants, the event was success!
